I was thrilled today: the great actress Claudia Cardinale came to visit me in the atelier, as she was passing through Nice for the inauguration of the exhibition by our mutual photographer friend, Chiara Samugheo.
A brief exchange of greetings, a smug look at my work on which she complimented me, and off she ran, back to Paris.
